Dangerous to gamble on the internet
Is it
dangerous to gamble on the internet for fear of a visit from a thug?
The
answer to that question is no it is not dangerous to gamble on the internet, not if you are paying up front
anyway. Which to my knowledge is the only way you can gamble online.
If you find an online casino willing to give you credit then the answer is
an emphatic yes!
That
said however there have been players who have put themselves in a
position where they could conceivably get a visit from a thug. This
happens when the player attacks the casino in a public forum (instead of
perhaps contacting me and letting me handle the situation) because if it
is run by shady people its no stretch to surmise that
criminals, thieves and unsavory characters do not like being in the
light and may come after those who put them in such situations.
Even
more so is they don't like their dirty deeds to come to anybody's attention.
So if you choose to attack an online casino that you know may be less than
honorable then you should be aware that it could have serious
consequences.
Lots
of money is involved and needless to say it doesn't take long to
accumulate the kind of numbers that could easily cover the charge of a
plane ticket and some thug's price to do harm.
This
is not the norm and in fact it is a very unlikely situation but the
subject was approached on one of the forums I visit and it prompted me to
think I should at least mention this unlikely scenario as yet another
attempt to protect my patrons (just in case you decide to go wandering off
and end up playing some casino run by thugs, get cheated, and then
you decide you want to raise hell about it - I'm honestly not trying to
scare anybody off from playing. I just want you to be able to play
safely and happily with no room for a bad experience short of losing which
if you didn't know I will tell you now is a very real possibility
that everyone who gambles should know.
