Gambling affiliates
and casino portals : how they make their money
So they figured they had a choice, they
could take on partners and offer them as much or more than they
could make starting their own pay site: or they could submit to the
inevitable conclusion that they would never grow to the size they'd
like to be to accomplish a large profitable business.
So what could they offer these potential
partners? How about if they said they'd do all the bookwork, do all
the customer service (which dealing with the public on the internet
is seldom a picnic, Jesus could be handing out eternal wealth and
health and you can bet somebody would come along and complain about
something), and on top of all that, they'd even supply
the materials (in this case, the dirty pictures etc) for the
business - in short, all the partner would have to do is to bring in
the customers.
Though there are many different types of
commission-based payment systems, the average is usually about 25%
to 35% of the net profit of money brought into the business. (35%
for affiliates making the casinos more, its a sliding scale at most
places). The reasoning behind this is that 50% (of the
net) of the money brought into the business goes right back into it,
and that leaves 50% to be divided between the two parties.
Now this is a good deal for the sponsor, because
they are getting a massive number of partners and are making a nice
share off of each of the customers these partners, or affiliates,
are bringing in.
It is a good deal for the affiliate, for the
reasons mentioned above.
So in other words, when you are playing at a
casino I list, you are in a sense, playing at a casino I own. That
is ideally how the affiliate system works in rough terms.
