More than any other
casino complaint I get is people writing me about having had some place
not pay them. Usually one I never heard of and after investigation I know why.
They either have just been thrown up and are the current name and look that
casino is using to hide its true identity or they've been scum for so long I had
long ago thought they went out of business only to see their ugly head rise to
bite one more unsuspecting victim.
In these cases it
was not unusual to hear the casino terminated communication with the player
because the gambler had become frustrated and became rude or hostile towards the
support agent through some means of communication. That's the recipe for
automatic account termination without further discussion or consideration to the
player. They flat out move on and take the money with them.
I
think many forget that just because you may be talking to someone using the same
language that they might not have the same social etiquette as do you. For
instance those in New York City USA have a very rough sounding accent and
rougher yet slang approach which even people in neighboring states find harsh
and they are used to this way of life. Someone like that makes one wrong remark
and the customer support agent located half way around the world ... has choice
of whether to listen to one more word from you or hang up. Which would you do?
Same money, .... easier work to just hang up and not listen to yet another casino complaint and this one from yet another person who is rude and
venting their frustration on this support person. I assure you that
the agent does not feel responsible for your problems and won't be any quicker
to your aid than the job demands unless you are very cordial throughout the
process of finding satisfaction to your issue.
A
casino
complaint that I have is when I experience extended periods of
non-communication from the casino while investigation is completed on the
current issue. They cannot seem to understand though I have tried to make them
listen ... that people who feel like they are being cheated out of their money
need constant reassurance their matter is being investigated and the online
casinos simply do not make this effort.
They
know they are going to pay the player if it is deserved but the more time
passing means every day the player loses faith in getting treated fairly.
Frustration grows and almost inevitably the player becomes rude and the support
team then closes the account for good and stops all communication.
In defense of these
players I must say that they likely did not have a 3rd party recourse such as
the guarantee you get from this site whom they could contact and ask for
intervention. Since anybody who has played online to any extent has likely had
their "learning experience" from a cheating online casino. They know the signs
of not getting paid. And the red flag signaling says the check has not arrived
in your hand. Every day that passes without compensation the player loses faith
in getting paid and gains suspicion they are being cheated.
When I am contacted
under these circumstances by a player that was cool enough to not be rude to
casino support I can often times find the player satisfaction. Probably 60% of
the time I didn't really have to do anything but calm the player down and ask
they be a bit more patient. The casino eventually pays them. But not before i
usually go through about 3 or 4 email correspondences with the player reassuring
them I am doing all I can. And this all for people who signed up at casinos I
don't list. I just help them because that's my nature.
Casinos I list.....
I've only had about ten incidents come up over the last 8 years. Twice I sent
money to people who later got paid by the casinos and the rest of the time the
casinos took care of the player. That's only little more than one issue per year
I've had to deal with when concerning my players signed up thru my links to my
guaranteed casinos. That's a lot of happy gamblers passed thru these doors over
the last 8 years. *Note this site may not have been around back then but my
first site:
www.kcsod.com
certainly existed.
Oh
on the other hand I
probably deal with a casino of some kind of questionable reputation at least
once a month helping those that somehow find their way to my site seeking
intervention from a professional online gambling guide at
some unscrupulous online casino.
So if you've got a casino
complaint and can't find anyone to help. I
will try. Don't get your hopes up because
many of these places are simply not worth
the time because they never have had any
plans to pay anybody any sizeable amount and
there is nothing that I nor anybody else can
do about it at this time. Some day there may
be an internet police to make all virtual
wrongs right but that won't be any time
soon.
