BetCris sports
warning! What is really wrong with this picture is once Tribun contacted BetCris and told them that the account
had been compromised, BetCris turned around and gave out
the new password to the thief when he called and using
that same information which BetCris by now should have
been aware to look for any strange behavior on the
account, let alone to be giving out the new secure
password to someone who did NOT have a current driver
license number but did have the victim's name, account
number and old password. So the thief was able to get
the new password. I'm not sure that's in his assessment
(shown on
previous page of this article
about BetCris warning) but I do know
that point was brought up over and over again in this
discussion (it went on back and forth for pages) and
BetCris continued to defended themselves stating that was
all that was needed to get the new password.
Even if I give
them that, or perhaps better said, forgive them that,
there is still the matter of allowing the money to have
been transferred to another sports book which is odd in
itself (at time of this writing, we
are still waiting for BetCris to come back and address
many questions) and until then my BetCris sports
warning will stay up. Another reason for keeping my
warning is on this page:
Bad Casinos.
And then there's
the matter of the money that was in the account was
suppose to be
tied up in a bonus scheme with play-through requirements
before it could be withdrawn from BetCris as per their
own terms and conditions. Yet
there is no explanation given as to why the money would
be allowed to be taken out when everybody knows how
strict online gaming establishments are about meeting
bonus terms and conditions. The bonus requirements still
had a whopper of a play-through at $200,000. Much of
this situation does not seem to be adding up to what
should be time-proven results, meaning two plus
two is not showing four despite the fact we know it
should. And I know that there should be no way the sport
book BetCris would have allowed someone to withdraw or
transfer money to another sport book with the one
exception that they also own Rio or the two are
connected to the point they trust sending not only money
transfers back and forth but also apparently don't mind
sharing customers which last time I checked (and I do
know online gambling) the casinos and sport books are
not easily willing to give up players. They hound you
forever to come back so I know if they've got you/your
money tied up in a contract that basically states you
cannot take money out until you've gambled it several
times over ... they are not going to let you out of it
until they've got all they can out of your obligation.
Here's what I had
to say in my final post about the matter:
