Microgaming Casinos Get New Software

Microgaming casinos get new software sounds like the perfect example of a sentence spoken completely wrong but in this case it is in at least, partial truth.

The word is that MGS powered casinos are getting a new software which will allow them to cater to USA players again, and not just those who were grandfathered in, although the official word on that at this time is it still remains the same.

If you have played at a MGS casino before the pullout from the states, then you can continue to play at whichever of the casinos you are grandfathered. What remains to be seen (officially) though is certain to happen is the casinos will again begin accepting new players from the states.

New Casino Software

The new software? My money is on it being a watered down, painted over, renamed and rethemed version of the MGS casino we have all grown to enjoy over the years.

Reason is simple. Though perhaps not sound. MGS believes by distancing themselves from the unauthorized (untaxed) catering to the USA citizens that when it comes time where that is possible, that they will be welcomed by the US government since they got out of the states back when the getting was good.

Whether that is just wishful thinking or a sound strategy, in either case that is my speculation on what is behind these known facts:

USA players already grandfathered in, stay and play, but with different software powering the casino's games, that said, it will likely be the same games, with different names and themes however. And we probably won't get as many to choose from, and progressives will probably be out of the question because that would be too hard to explain if they were tied into the existing MGS progressives.

The old games are no longer going to be an option, at until such time as MGS is again choosing to cater to the USA.

MGS Plus RTG Spells Not Likely

There are some MGS powered casinos which are offering their USA players the option to play at some RTG (real time gaming) powered casinos and there is speculation that MGS and RTG have teamed up to create this new software which will likely be in operation by the time you read this article.

I don't believe that to be true. I don't ever see MGS teaming up with RTG.

It will certainly not be boring in any case, so stick around and we'll see together how this plays out.
