Casino dispute #1
quote:
Hi Steve,
Ok, here is the situation.
I deposit and lose, and deposit and lose, and this repeats 5 times,
taking away about $2000, when I realized it's getting too much and I
just want to stop, so I asked them to send the pitiful hundred
dollar left in my account. It takes them a week to send me an email
saying I need this and that, so fine...I fax them copies of my driver
license, my credit card, and because I don't do banking manual - just
online, I told them I can't give them my bank statement, the only one I
can give is the online one. Online bank statement also show my current
address and guess what? they're not happy with that. Takes them a week
to finally email me saying that my fax is not clear - so I emailed them
back saying there is no way I can get it to be clear, got to be their
side, may be their ink is the problem? not the fax machine? so I go like
is there any other way I can get my money - they tell me to scan my info
and send it via email. I said I have no scanner, so my money is just
sitting there right now, I just have no way of having them write me a
cheque. I really question why that is the case? if a deposit can happen
so promptly, and I deposit many times, does that not prove to them I am
who I am? if not, the credit card company would have call them up saying
this is fraud charges. Anyhow, long story made short, GP's business
practice got to be review

I
read your article and I realized the online casino I've been playing was
perhaps a cheating one all along. I've always suspect how come the odds of
winning is so low there. And when I had enough I finally want to withdraw
the rest of my money. I put in a request a week already and yet they still
haven't send me anythinig,
I
check on the status on my cheque, they request a gazillion documents from
me which I still fax over to them, then they make up excuses such as
my documents are not clear so
they can't process it. Do you have any suggestion as to what else can I
do? Can I report them as a cheater casino? By the way, that casino is
called GoldenPalace.com another sister site is Grandonline casino. Do you
happen to have a list of accredited casino I can go to? Your help is
greatly appreciated. Thank god there is someone like you around to track
all these cheaters. Very frustrated player,
Tiffany

Hi Steve,
Once again, sorry for the late reply, I'm in the
middle of moving so I couldn't have time to check
mail lately. However, I really want to thank you for
your help. I just got my check in the mail, wow that
was quick, I checked my email and they just emailed
me a confirmation not too long ago, and then boom I
got my check, what a fast service now huh? :)
I'd love to keep in touch with you, and for sure
you're the first one on my mind if I do go play on
any casinos, I'd go through your
website and let you know.
Cheers, I'll be contacting you again shortly, keep
in touch.
Once again, thank you so much for your help Steve...

The
conclusion of Tiffany's problem about getting
paid was a pleasant one. I was able to contact
someone from GP and able to not only get her cleared
for payment, but they also comped her $150.
Aboveis her last letter to me.
Golden Palace was
actually one of the easier places to get to pay a player because they
are one of the networks that hang out at the casino affiliate forums
where I am a senior member. None of these places like
bad publicity and especially in front of 100s of webmasters that
represent 1,000s and 1,000s of players.
Some player forum owners
would like the public to think their forums have great
impact on influencing casinos about policy etc, the truth is that player
complaints are a dime a dozen due to sore losers who just are trying to
bash the casino where they lost. Any
savvy online gambler knows this and they actually give very little
credibility to anybody not having a history of honesty amongst their
community when it comes to player's making claims. However affiliate
webmasters are a different story because if one of us has a problem with
a casino you can bet several if not hundreds will also know about it.
Whether they choose to do something about it is another story but there
will always be a reputable group that thinks of their players before
their pocketbooks and those will take down any listings to questionable
online casinos.

These are
real letters people sent me and they describe exactly what I warned
about in my old version of this eBook, since then I've updated but as
you're reading I don't think I can tell the tale any better.
I will
add a few points they missed and that I feel are very important. Did you
note in the first letter the casino she was having trouble getting to
pay her ... what was it? Like $100 out of something like $2,000
she had deposited over the period of play. They gave her a hard time
about that small amount (though it could have been more by the time she
finally was able to cash out if she played additionally: unknown to me).
The
casino which gave her such a hard time was Golden Palace. The very same
place you see on the naked bodies of people at large sports events who
are paid to streak across the field of play with only Golden Palace's
name on them. Also the same casino that buys potato chips off of Ebay
for thousands of dollars because it looks like Elvis. They even paid a
family to name their baby Golden Palace.
Everybody's heard of Golden Palace. Yet here we are reading about them
giving players a hard time over small amounts of money. Wonder what it
would be like to withdraw 6 or more figures?
