Rival
Casino Review
Update: Currently as of
4/15/2010, there are some problems
with some of the Rival Gaming casinos
not having correct payouts on their
blackjack games and there may be other
issues which are involving whether the
parent software provider, Rival Gaming, or
the individual casino, can set the
rate of payback on games?
If you trust the casino,
then it is not a problem. Otherwise, you
might be walking into a casino with their
slots set to pay back at a very low
percentage.
Rival casinos are
graphic rich. That's the first thing I
noticed about SlotO'Cash which was the first
of the bunch that I visited. My Visa was
denied but the usemywallet (quicktender)
option was there and yes one is the same so
if you see a usemywallet logo you can use
quicktender through that service.
Please note at this time
that at the time I wrote the Rival
casinos review that it was done how I do
everything here, which is to check it out
myself. Unknown to me at the time, my
account had been as they later termed it
"flagged" and as such rather than seeing the
full amount you can wager what I saw was a
restricted amount. I did not know so I wrote
accordingly. *The flagging had to do with my
being an affiliate and sending myself
through the process. I usually use testers
but that is only when it's a software that I
am familiar and this is a new one to me.
Anyway the actual wager amounts are going to
be at the bottom of this article as wrote to
me by ThisIsVegas online casino.
Video poker was my first
stop to see if the odds were to my liking.
Full house paid nine and the flush paid six
so I found that acceptable.
Blackjack minimum wager is
one dollar and maximum is one hundred
dollars. I can see the casino taking it on
the chin with a spread like that and
blackjack players will understand what I
mean. Usually the minimum is five dollars
and the maximum one hundred or sometimes two
hundred but in either case it is a number
assigned to prevent the gambler from winning
all their money back in one large bet.
Slots are my next stop and
i-slots are the specialty at SlotO'Cash and
they're good looking games. They take a
short while to download however and I'm on a
cable connection. One of the games I
downloaded had a minimum wager of 1 cent and
a maximum wager of fifty cents which maximum
wager came to seventy-five cents and
thirty-seven dollars and fifty cents,
respectively. Upon further examination it
would appear that all the i-slot games have
similar wager situations.
Wheel of Cash video slot
game has a two dollar minimum wager and
fifty dollar maximum wager as are all of
their video slots. Interestingly they have
some games that mimic the look of the games
found in many USA casinos such as the slot
game which has all the sevens in different
colors and I've mentioned the Wheel of Cash
game well they also have the Reel of
Fortune. Several other themed video slot
games add to those mentioned to make up a
nice variety of video slots.
Three reel slots also are
available and in fact that is what the
sevens game is about. It is called Sevens
and Bars. There is also a nice variety of
three reel slot games all in different
themes and all have the option to go from a
two dollar maximum wager to a fifty dollar
maximum wager.
Progressive slot games at
SlotO'Cash are called Major-Moolah and
Strike Gold.
Here are the correct wager
maximums:
For the short answer default sizes for VP
single line are $5/spin [max $25/spin], 4
line are $20/spin ($5/line). Blackjack is
$200/hand [max $500]. The slots can vary but
most of the defaults are at 0.25 coins where
the max can be 0.5 or 1. In some cases the
coins can go up to $10.
Example Scary Rich max bet is default $50/spin
but for max is $100. Any player that's VIP
has the high limits available.
